How it works

Every day of the year has a pre-assigned verse (Verse of the Day) or reading passage (The Bible in a Year), following a fixed plan that repeats the same way every calendar year. That means each day's address — for example, "July 30" or "Day 211" — always shows the same content, no matter when you visit it.

The "today" page

Each product's main page automatically shows the content for the current date (based on UTC) and takes you to that day's permanent page.

Email notifications

You can subscribe to receive the day's verse or reading by email. Subscribing is optional, uses double opt-in (you'll get a confirmation email before it activates), and you can unsubscribe at any time.

No accounts, no ads

You don't need to create an account to use the site. We don't run ads or sell visitor data.
